Can you match the texture and paint after the repair?
Yes. We sand the patch smooth, match the existing texture where possible, and can prime and paint the area to blend in.
How much do you charge?
Our rate is $100 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum on every job. We'll give you an estimate over the phone before booking.
How long does a drywall repair take?
Small patches are usually done in one visit. Larger repairs may need a second short visit so the compound can dry before sanding and painting.
Seamless Drywall Repairs
A doorknob through the wall, a crack along the ceiling or a stain left by a leak makes a whole room look neglected. Patch kits from the hardware store rarely blend in, and a visible patch can look worse than the hole. The Man on Call repairs drywall properly, so the wall is smooth, solid and ready for paint.
What our drywall service covers
We cut out the damaged area, fit and fasten a new piece, then tape, mud and sand it in layers until the repair is flush with the wall. We match the existing texture where possible and can prime and paint the area so it blends in. We cover floors and furniture before sanding and clean up the dust afterwards. We repair existing drywall only. We don't install new drywall for new walls, basements or renovations.
